The villa was owned by an old Romanian family, whose history starts in the XV century. Irina and Elena Golescu have donated the property to Pro Patrimonio, including old furniture, small objects and rugs. Built in 1910 by their father, the villa is a beautiful example of the neo-romanian style of the region and it has survived the wars and the communist era thanks to the family’s descendants, who wished to save it as a sample of local history for future generations.

The villa is now an example of good practices in restoration and is available for visiting. Also, every summer, the foundation organizes site specific workshops and conferences meant to address issues like landscape or restoration, hosted at the villa.

Câmpulung is surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes and is near the castle of Bran, reached by one of the world’s most spectacular drives. The house consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room and kitchen, situated in beautiful landscaped gardens of four hectares.

You can enjoy an unforgettable week or weekend in Pro Patrimonio’s elegant and picturesque Villa Golescu Câmpulung Muscel. Members of the foundation have unlimited access to the villa and can use it for a minimum donation.
